Skills represent ability or training in a specific area. Skill levels are DMs applied directly to any task related to a skill the character has. For example, a character having Medical, Modern at level '3' would add +3 to any roll they made using that skill as a positive DM. Skills are putchased in the same way that STATS are. Skills are broken down by cost. Skills that are traditionally hard to obtain, or have a large impact on game mechanics are mose costly to purchaes. Skills are vroken down by cost: 1 point, 2 pint and 3 point skills. The cost represents the number of points from the pool per level. For exapme, to by Medical, Modern level '3' would cost 9 point - 3 points per each level. The following table represents skills costs for the 'sleeper' archetypes. Skill costs may vary by archetype. For example, post collapse skill like survival may cost less for characters who were born after the collapse out of necessaity. However, skills like literacy or related to technology might be more costly to purchase for a post collapse character. Please note any special effects for any skills yout character possesses.
